It all began with a bottle of Nigerian Foreign Extra Stout —that’s Nigerian Guinness to you and me - a beverage that so many Nigerians living in the UK missed; the black stuff, imported from Nigeria for its unique taste.

 And so Kato Enterprises was born, to ‘Share the Taste of Home’ with all. In 1998 Diageo plc (formally Guinness UK) appointed Kato as the exclusive importer of Guinness FES from Nigeria. More recently in 2009 we were appointed exclusive importer of STAR lager, Gulder lager and Maltina by Nigerian Breweries Plc.

We specialise in importing alcoholic and non-alcoholic African Caribbean beverages, and strive to deliver premium packaged products and superior service to our customers by ensuring that all our products meet international and UK import standards. Our expertise lies not only in importing but also in marketing brands to the African Caribbean community, and we maintain a consistant and strong presence in both local and national events and in the ethnic media.
