Notting Hill Carnival – 30th August 2010

At this year’s Notting Hill Carnival STAR lager teamed up with the world famous Burrokeets and top London DJ Martin Jay - Choice FM’s number 1 DJ - for a spectacular day. 

Over one million people descended on London's Notting Hill to watch the 300 floats and revellers who took part in the colourful and lively Carnival which went on well into the late hours of Monday 30th August!

With over 100 revellers all in brightly coloured handmade costumes singing and dancing behind the floats, the atmosphere was really amazing with spectacular sights. Even the security team and revellers who were not in fancy dress put on our STAR t-shirts and drank our favourite STAR lager!
The crowd were in awe of all the floats and even if we do say so ourselves, the Burrokeets and STAR lager float looked particularly amazing!

It was fantastic for STAR lager to be aligned with such a prestigious carnival – the largest outdoor road precession in Europe. Hearing the cheers from the crowd as the STAR lager float passed through Nigerian Corner was especially awesome.
